CBTU: Women Fighting in Today’s Civil Rights Movement

WOOC Labor Talk Host and Roaming Correspondent, Willie Terry, attended The Coalition of Black Trade Unionists Region 1 Conference on “47 Years Strong, Saving Our Heritage” at the Albany Hilton Hotel August 16-19, 2018, where he recorded a speech in the “Women Fighting in Today’s Civil Rights Movement Workshop” given by CSEA Statewide Secretary, 1st Black Statewide Officer in CSEA and CBTU International Women Chair Denise Berkley on her experience as a black woman in the Labor Movement. This is part two of a series of reports from the conference.
