Capital People: Amy Jones WOC Brunch and Rally

The Capital District Women of Color Committee has spent months organizing a brunch, march, and rally for Saturday, January 19th in Albany. This will be a celebration of women of color as well as a time to use an intersectional lens to express the infinite combinations and multitude of layers of oppression and the unique impact it has on women of color. The registered sister march to the National Women’s March is being led by the Capital District Women of Color Committee in partnership with various people of color-centered groups and organizations. WOOC correspondent Clyanna Lightbourn sits with Amy Jones to discuss the upcoming event.
