CCA Update Lieberman 9’28 News 5-14-2020

13 municipalities in the Capital District have agreed to create Community Choice Aggregation to purchase electricity for residents collectively, with a goal of lowering the cost for clean energy. While the CCA was planning to issue an RFP for electric bids, their plans are on hold due to the COVID-19 crisis and the recent collapse of fossil fuel prices.
