Angela Kaufman talks about her novel Quiet Man

Angela Kaufman, a local author talks about her new novel Quiet Man. Quiet Man is a crime drama that explores the exploitation of working people, animals, and the environment under a predatory capitalist system. Readers will be exposed to the hidden world of slaughter that goes from toxic masculinity to speciesism, institutionalized racism and classism. Quiet Man is a work of fiction, though several scenes take place inside the slaughterhouse and are inspired by actual undercover investigative reports of worker and animal abuse in this industry. Interview by HMM correspondent Aileen Javier.
