SWEAT Wage Theft Cuomo 10’07 News

Each year more than $1 billion is stolen from the paychecks of low-income workers in NYS. The SWEAT bill would make it easier for workers to collect when they win wage theft judgements against employers. The bill has passed the state legislature but has not been signed by the Governor. We talk with Adriana Escandon Mendoza, Center Director of the Workers Justice Project in Brooklyn. By Mark Dunlea for Hudson Mohawk Radio Network.
