ABOLITIONIST TEACHING (Bettina Love)

The Hudson Mohawk Magazine Network Roaming Labor Correspondent, Willie Terry, attended a zoom forum entitled, “Abolitionist Teaching and the Future of Schools” on June 23, 2020. Haymarket Books sponsored the conference, which was moderated by Brian Jones, Associate Educator for the Schomburg Center. In this segment, he recorded excerpts from one of the panelists, Bettina Love, Author and Professor at the University of Georgia. Professor Love spoke about how she got involved in the social justice issue of Abolitionist Teaching and its future in our schools.
