“Farming While Black” Book Release Event Interview With 518BLK’s Ada Harper

WOOC Correspondent Melissa Bromley sat down with Ada Harper to discuss the “Farming While Black” book release happening at The Sanctuary for Independent Media on Thursday, 11/1 at 7PM. Ada is helping organize the event which will feature the book’s author, Leah Penniman, as well as a number of artists, musicians and poet from the Soul Fire Farm community. Ada also discusses 518 BLK, a project she created to highlight events and opportunities for black and brown people in the Capital District.
