Olivia Leonard

Olivia Leonard is an undergraduate student at the University at Albany studying English and Journalism, as well as a minor in Business. Additionally, Olivia is a Summer 2020 intern with The Media Sanctuary. She is producing a series of segments in regards to educating the public about the local environment in our daily lives, along with environmental activism, for WOOC 105.3 Hudson Mohawk Magazine. Her passion for environmental justice sprouted at a very young age when exploring and hiking the Adirondack Mountains with her parents. She believes it is important to protect our environment and continue to educate the public about it in order to keep our planet as a place that is suitable for life.
Olivia is also in charge of event promotion and daily Instagram postings for the HudsonMohawkMag. Social media is something she loves because of the incredible impacts instantaneous postings bring to our society. Moreover, she spends her free time on her personal Instagram blog in regards to her life as a division one cross country and track runner.
