Sanctuary Radio Intern Julia Cavicchi gathers a story...

NATURE Lab enthusiast and WOOC correspondent Julia Cavicchi has been involved with the Sanctuary since 2016. This year, she is coordinating a variety of radio and audio mapping projects with the Uptown Summer youth employment program, focusing on stories of environmental justice. She is deeply inspired by the ecologies of collaboration in this community and hopes to foster further symbiosis in the future. She graduated with a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Skidmore College in 2018 and will be beginning her Master’s in Human Geography: Spaces, Policy, and Ecologies at the University of Glasgow in the fall.
