Jenna Kersten

Jenna Kersten studies English, International Studies, and German as a rising senior at Siena College. She is spending the summer at the Sanctuary as a part of the Dake Fellowship Program through Siena’s Center for Academic Community Engagement, where she is engaging in a year-long, community-based research project on storytelling and refugee and immigrant narratives. At the Sanctuary, she is coordinating the Spanish in the Garden workshop on Tuesday mornings in addition to developing and organizing content for social media. She is interested in the stories we can tell about the communities we live in and the things we are passionate about.
