Chelsea Kereszi

Chelsea is a senior at Suny Purchase College. Her major is Arts Management with a minor in Art History. Her first two years of college she completed at Hudson Valley studying Art Gallery Management which has helped her develop an eye for art and design.
Chelsea has been a member of The Sanctuary For Independent Media since 2008 when she first visited Troy. In 2010 she moved to Troy from Pennsylvania to independently begin school. The Sanctuary has allowed Chelsea to learn media arts of all kinds. It has shaped her into the adult she has become by providing her with a widespread array of art culture. At The Sanctuary Chelsea has held a role in being a youth mentor, video editor, filmed events, made films, and is the blog writer for Uptown Summer 2014.
Chelsea’s life goal is to work with youth teaching them to use art as a therapeutic tool for creative development and she believes The Sanctuary is the best place to gain experience in fulfilling this goal.
