Bryanna Burkhardt

Bryanna is an undergraduate at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute studying physics with a concentration in sustainability graduating in December 2019 and will be continuing her education in January 2020 with a master’s in mechanical engineering. For the past two years she has been taking sustainability classes and is currently volunteering at the Sanctuary through a class at RPI called “Public Service Internship and Social Justice”. With her focus in sustainability, Bryanna mainly looks at technical solutions to sustainability issues but picked this internship to be able to look at sustainability from the social justice point of view. Bryanna is doing this by working to help with NATURE Lab planning and activities as well as picking up any other work while she is at the Sanctuary. She is excited to work with the Sanctuary and the community!
