The outpouring of support from this community helped us raise $32,584—we can now help build two new progressive radio stations for the Capital Region.

The Hudson Mohawk Radio Network is now live, test broadcasting on WOOA 106.9 FM Albany and WOOS 98.9 FM Schenectady. The FCC construction permits will not expire and we have time to collectively build this network.

Here’s a picture of Pete Tridish, community media pioneer (co-founder of Radio Mutiny 91.3 FM and Prometheus Radio Project), helping build one of the new transmitters:

We cannot wait to continue growing this powerful force for change and community empowerment with you in 2018.

In gratitude,
Your friends at The Sanctuary for Independent Media
