[image description] A sepia-toned photograph of approximately eleven grown women wearing white long-sleeve floor-length dresses partaking in the Suffragette Parade in New York City (May 6th, 1912). Many of them hold American flags, and a large banner is held behind them reading "DEMAND EQUAL REPRESENTATION WITH EQUAL TAXATION". One woman to the far left is holding hands with her (presumed) daughter dressed in white, and the woman next to them is pushing a stroller with a small infant inside, wearing a white dress and bonnet. A few of the women are wearing sashes from their left shoulder reading "VOTES FOR WOMEN" with stars across the top and bottom of the lettering.

A gift by the Ganondagan State Historic Site (located in Victor, NY), a piece of art created by Brandon Lazore in honor of the Seneca Mothers of the Hodinöhsö:ni’. [image description] a dark teal background. Along the upper left corner is a soft white embroidery. In the upper right corner are the silhouettes of a falling person (presumably a woman) and geese flying in a V formation. Across the piece are the phases of the moon, arching from the mid-right to the bottom left. In the bottom right is a strawberry bush growing its fruit and white flowers. In the forefront center of the piece are two Native American women, one looking towards the upper right corner with silver hair. She wears a black headpiece with starry embroidery, the bottom lined with the same lace pattern of the upper left corner of the piece. she wears pointed pink earrings and a bright green regalia, the collar and cuffs match her headpiece. The other woman looks to the bottom left, and is facing forward. She has grey-black hair and wears a black headpiece with green plants embroidered across the front. She wears round indigo earrings and thick dark purple shawl, with green stripes and an orange triangular pattern starting around the waist. In her arms she carried a small child wearing a pink shirt and red bandanna wrapped across it's back. Both women wear pale blue rings.
