Like many organizations and innumerable individuals and families, the Sanctuary is facing challenges.
Our main concern is the health and safety of you: our volunteers, interns, staff, board members, and beloved community members. Although we had to cancel our spring season and pivot to virtual programming, we are deeply grateful to be able to continue our work.
If you have the capacity to help this work continue, please consider:
If you have the capacity to make a financial contribution, now is the time to do it. You can make a one-time donation, or sign up as a monthly contributor and join our family of Sanctuary Sustainers. You can also venmo us @mediasanctuary, or send a check (made out to “Media Alliance”) to P.O. Box 35, Troy, NY 12181.
Volunteers and interns are vital to the Sanctuary’s ongoing activities. If you are interested in helping produce the Hudson Mohawk Magazine, grow food in Collard City Growers, edit video, research technical issues, or even clean our block, we are looking for you! Skilled carpenters, plumbers, and electricians are especially needed. Email us at email@example.com.

I will be standing in the woods
where the old trees
move only with the wind
and then with gravity.
In the stillness of the trees
I am at home. Don’t come with me.
You stay home too.
