HMM 01 – 04 – 23

Today, on the Hudson Mohawk Magazine:

We begin with a story on a rally in Albany on Jan. 6 to protect freedom and democracy.

Then, for our peace segment, we hear about Dr. King’s opposition to militarism.

Later on, Brea Barthel goes to the Lansingburgh Public Library for book suggestions on Indigenous Peoples and a children’s book about hearing snow.

After that, Willie Terry reports on a recent Toys for Tots event in Albany and interviews Mind Body Soul Studio owner.

Finally, we hear about the St. Rocco’s Poetry Collective’s marathon reading of “Midwinter Day,” a book-length poem about the Town of Lenox, on Saturday, January 7.
