We begin with Blaise Bryant, a disability rights advocate, talking about related portions of the newly passed New York State budget.
Then, Brea Barthel interviews Alexis Goldsmith, Hudson Mohawk Magazine’s Plastics correspondent, about the limitations of recent state proposals regarding EPR: extended producer responsibility for plastics and packaging.
Later on, we hear the second part of Caelan McPherson’s interview with Joseph Orozco of KIDE-FM in California about the importance of radio for Native Americans.
After that, our show coordinator Sina Basila Hickey talks with Anna Allen about the experience of her brother and others living in the Ukraine during this war.
Finally, Blaise Bryant talks with retired meteorologist Hugh Johnson about current flooding concerns and his forecast for the week’s weather.
