Dave Ellis, Chair of Rensselaer Environmental Coalition, gives an update about residents’ complaints about the Dunn Landfill.
Then, on Reclaiming History, we’ll hear part 2 of Lovonia Mallory’s interview with Prof. Edda L. Fields-Black of Carnegie Mellon University, about a Harriet Tubman-led military raid to free enslaved people in South Carolina.
After that, Luke Weber brings us voices from a recent Tonko Tuesday Rally, in which People of Albany United for Safe Energy have been pushing to keep climate change at the top of Representative Tonko’s agenda.
Then, Nithilan Pugal speaks with Prof. Glenn Ciolek from Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute about stars and the interstellar medium
And to close out the show, Moses Nagel speaks with teachers at the Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs about how they’ve managed to bring students music instruction while following social distancing and other protocols.
