HMM 03 – 03 – 21

This is the Hudson Mohawk Magazine, broadcasting from the Sanctuary for Independent Media in Troy, NY with Andrea Cunliffe and I’m Mark Dunlea.
Today, we start with an update on the ongoing effort to shut down the Dunn landfill in the City of Rensselaer.
Then, for our peace bucket, we talk to Greg Giogrio of Schenectady Neighbors for Peace
And later on, we have an interview with the principal at Troy’s School 2 elementary school.
After that, we hear about More Trees Arborist Collective, a new workers cooperative in Troy.
Finally, we hear about the interactions between community action, education, and advocacy with RPI professor Brandon Costelloe-Keuhn.
