Today, Heather Bruegl, the Director of Cultural Affairs for the Stockbridge-Munsee Community of the Mohican Nation, discusses the historical and present-day cultural significance of Papscanee Island and how the installation of National Grid’s proposed E-37 natural gas pipeline

Then, we discuss the legacy of longtime environmental leader Rezsin Adams, who recently passed away at the age of 93, with Lynne Jackson of Save the Pinebush.

After that, focus on the COVID crisis has pushed the Climate Crisis out of the forefront of the news. My cohost Erika discusses the issue with retired meteorologist Hugh Johnson.

Last week, the Albany County Clean Air Law, aka Local Law B, passed with a vote of 32-7. HMM’s Ana Cowie discusses the implications it will have on public health if Albany County Executive Dan McCoy signs the bill into law, with public health expert and physician, Dr. David Carpenter.

Finally, we close the show with Allison Joseph, founder of the local chapter of “Black Girls Do Cycle,” a national organization dedicated to diversity in cycling and cycling infrastructure.
