Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn

On Saturday, May 9, 2009 Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn discussed how systemic racial inequality in the criminal justice system, education, and housing illustrate the powerful pull of bigotry in our country.

The election of our nation’s first Black president brought many Americans to question where we’ve been, where we are, and where we are going in America with regard to enduring racism.

Branded as President Obama’s “terrorist friends” last fall, the two have a long history of fighting for social equality and speak from personal experience. Their new book is Race Course: Against White Supremacy.
