DESCRIPTION:Join us for StoryHarvest\, our annual food justice celebration\, connecting the community over stories of food. This year’s theme is civic action to fight for water justice! This annual event takes place at Freedom Square\, bringing together community groups and offering activities\, games\, music\, and food.*rain location indoors at our main space\, 3361 6th Ave \n\n\n\nDo you know how clean Troy’s water is? Water Justice Lab fellows have been testing local waters and will let you know where is safe and what is not. How have every day folks protected our water? We will have activities and games around the history and future of protecting water. What to macroinvertebrates look like? We will have a viewing station of critters from our streams. How can we protect our local waterways? We will have local organizations engage us in this questions. \n\n\n\nThis event is FREE and open to anyone! \n\n\n\nSchedule:Family Singalong with Kim Tateo\, 2:45pm-3:15pm\, hear an interview with KimHeartspace Yoga\, “Flow Like Water” workshop\, 4:00-4:45pmParticipating organizations:League of Women Voters of Rensselaer CountyChildren’s Museum of Saratoga \n\n\n\nThanks to Stewart’s for their grant to make this event possible.
