SUMMARY:Digital Ofrenda / Altar with Minerva Hernández / Bioscénica and IONE
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the new moon of March and the coming of the light\, as you join us in this virtual healing event featuring an artist talk\, live digital ritual and meditation. \n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\n\nWe welcome Minerva Hernández Trejo with Bioscénica\, along with artist/healer IONE\, in the third in The Sanctuary for Independent Media’s latest virtual series of artist residencies\, “Art and Ecology: In the Spirit of the Suffragettes.” This event is designed as a healing ritual for People’s Health Sanctuary\, part of a year-long inauguration of our new NATURE Lab Urban Environmental Arts & Education Center. \n\n\n\nThis virtual event will begin with an artist presentation by Minerva Hernández Trejo\, followed by a live ritual performance by Minerva and colleagues broadcast from Mexico City to our live zoom audience\, and completed by a healing meditation by IONE. \n\n\n\nWe chose this artistic ceremony to celebrate new moon of Pisces\, a time of beginnings. We mark the spring\, and a new year\, setting intentions for where we want to put our energies.  We focus on the five elements: water\, color/ fire\, wind/air\, earth/body\, spirit. Our overriding intention is healing — our planet\, our bodies — in this event and future events. \n\n\n\n\n\nMoon in the night sky just after the New Moon during the waxing crescent towards becoming full again.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArt & Ecology: In the Spirit of the Suffragettes\n\n\n\nMinerva Hernández Trejo is the third in The Sanctuary for Independent Media’s latest virtual series of artist residencies\, “Art and Ecology: In the Spirit of the Suffragettes.” \n\n\n\nInaugurating our new NATURE Lab Urban Environmental Arts & Education Center\, this event is designed as a healing ritual for People’s Health Sanctuary’s new home on the second floor.
