“Girls to the Front!” with Sara Marcus plus Mountain Man

In an evening celebrating female creativity past and present, author Sara Marcus discusses her new book Girls to the Front: The True Story of the Riot Grrrl Revolution (2010) with rock journalist Will Hermes (NPR, Rolling Stone, Spin), and highly acclaimed indie folk trio Mountain Man, fresh off a national tour and slot at Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival, gives a rare intimate performance of its bone-tinglingly, gutsy take on old traditions and harmonies.
