Eliza Gilkyson "Emerald Street"

The Sanctuary for Independent Media welcomed Austin, TX-based folk musician Eliza Gilkyson and activist Rob Jensen on November 16, 2008. Gilkyson performed her songs, including some from her most recent album Beautiful World. Jensen offered his approach to a variety of topics such as economics and environmentalism, which he presents in his most recent book, All My Bones Shake: Seeking a Progressive Path to the Prophetic Voice. The duo intertwined songs and speeches throughout the night to present a collection of beautiful music and radical discussion.
