Shot during the Peoples March that took place on October 15, 2011 in solidarity with the day of global revolutions, when marches, occupations, and assemblies were held all over the world.

Cultivate community through cooking and eating, sharing stories, making art, and watching films! All of this took place at The Sanctuary for Independent Media and at the Collard City Growers garden plot in North Troy. HM-IMC's"Be the Media" workshop "From Seed to Table" taught production skills while documenting the entire day.

Produced at The Sanctuary for Independent Media; with Media Alliance, in collaboration with the Missing Link Street Ministry and funding from The Louis and Hortense Rubin Community Fellowship (a Troy-based organization that funds faculty-community collaboration) and the New York State Council on the Arts.

Youth Media Sanctuary Teaser 2010

Youth Media Sanctuary is a community media arts peer-training project, designed to teach multimedia skills to young people in North Central Troy, and to help develop urgently needed independent local voices in our economically devastated neighborhood. This teaser contains highlights from the video that the YMS producers premiered at The Sanctuary for Independent Media on December 18, 2010. A collaboration with Missing Link Street Ministry, funded by The Louis and Hortense Rubin Community Fellowship and NYSCA Arts Education Projects: Community-based Learning.
