Peter Kuper: A Brief History of Political Comix

On May 8, 2010, as part of a multimedia/performance event celebrating 30 years of the longest-running political comic publication "World War 3 Illustrated", co-founder Peter Kuper gave a presentation on the history of political comix and posters, including his own experiences living with his family in Oaxaca, Mexico, in 2006.

WW3 Artist - Mac McGill

MAC McGILL--a WW 3 ILLUSTRATED artist, illustrator and graphic story teller whose work is in the collection of the Brooklyn Museum of Art. The creators of World War 3 Illustrated, the NYC-based independent comic book anthology magazine, celebrated their 30th anniversary on Saturday, May 8, 2010 with a wild multimedia event at The Sanctuary for Independent Media.

Featuring Eric Blitz on percussion, Zef Noise on electric violin, and Andy Laties on horns.

Youth Media Sanctuary pilot project, with Alvin Gyles
