Young people, aged 10-18, learned do-it-yourself stop-motion animation techniques in this fast-paced hands-on workshop. Participants worked in small groups with clay, collage, and/or cut-outs to create animated scenes, characters and short stories.

The animation workshop instructors are Victoria Kereszi & Andrew Lynn. Andrew and Vickie are both experienced community media educators and artists. Between them, they have worked with youth media organizations and schools up and down the Hudson, including Children’s Media Project, MNN Youth Channel, Global Action Project, and the Ark Community Charter School.
The workshop is in the "Be The Media!" series, produced by the Hudson Mohawk Independent Media Center and funded in part by the Electronic Media & Film program of the NYS Council on the Arts.
